We have storage tanks available on premises for semen and embryo storage, or you can store your own tank here for us to maintain and distribute semen/embryos at your request. We currently have over 250,000 doses of semen stored here at MAB. All export semen/embryo tanks are stored separately from domestic tanks and all tanks are inspected daily with weekly liquid nitrogen top ups.

All MAB staff are trained to handle any incoming or outgoing semen/embryos to ensure that your valuable genetics are in the safest hands.

Genetic Sourcing and Sales

MAB have access to some of the best sheep and cattle genetics in Australia.

• Experience - Greg McCann BVSc (Director of MAB) has been a registered veterinary surgeon for over 30 years working in the sheep and cattle industries. He was a pioneer in the establishment of the Australian artificial breeding industry and is a sheep breeder in his own right. In total, there are 3 qualified veterinary surgeons and 3 technical staff working at MAB. Macquarie Artificial Breeders also works in conjunction with Dubbo Veterinary Hospital and operates from the same premises.
